Lois Baer Barr was a Scholar-in-Residence for the Northbrook Public Library’s Nextbook Program.
She has led poetry workshops for children and teens at the Waukegan Public Library and adults at the Palatine Public Library sponsored by the Northwest Cultural Council and underwritten by Poets and Writers. Barr teaches creative writing in Spanish for college students.
